Just Counting Down!

WE ONLY HAVE 6 DAYS OF SCHOOL LEFT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Where has the year gone? It seems like only yesterday Nikki, Diana, Terri and I were talking about how it did not seem possible for the kids (older ones) to be going into 6th grade! But we all the mom's and the kids survived. We had our ups and downs but for the most part Ian had a terrific 6th grade year! He met new friends and rejoined some old ones, learn to play the violin and managed to have all A's with just 1 B. Jonah always fares well with school and friends. Nothing much knew for him mostly A's with 1 B and met alot of new friends this year. Wade and I are truly blessed with 2 terrific kids.

Ok, You thought you were going to get away without a baseball post. Right

With baseball season in full swing, I thought I would post some additional photos!

Jonah's Field Day

Jonah's field day was Thursday. Yes, I know I am a little behind on my postings!

It was a great day with field day in the am the heat was not to bad. The Domino Dynamites has great success with the field events.

It is not all baseball at our house!

I know that most of you think we are just a baseball family!

Well on most Monday nights that would be true....... but tonight was Ian's Spring Concert. Although, Jonah did have a game! Ian and I went to the concert.

The concert was great and Ian did a wonderful job.

Sunday Night!

With the end of a busy weekend. 4 games this weekend Jonah had 3 and Ian had 1! Jonah's team is progressing and Ian's team is on fire. Ian pitched on Saturday 3 complete innings with no hits and 7 strike outs. What an awesome game he had. Jonah has started playing a little bit of short stop but still prefers 2nd. Even with TAKS this week, we still have a busy week coming up. Just counting down the days only 5 Mondays left! Well Jonah is calling from the bath tub and the dryer buzzer is going off so I guess I better go.

What a Beautiful Day!

After all the rain Friday night and Saturday! Today is such a beautiful day. We did venture out of the house yesterday with errands to run......Jonah needed new shoes and new cleats, with the outlet mall in Fairfield out of the question, we ventured over to Katy Mills. We did some shopping and then caught a movie Monsters vs Aliens. Cute movie, Jonah loved it.....Ian not so much. I guess he is getting to old for those animated ones. I made my weekly trip to HEB and did some laundry. Now we are just waiting for 4:00 Jonah and Ian both have practice tonight. Hope everyone has a great week!

Wednesday Night

WOW!

What a long week and it is not even over yet!

Ian had a game tonight and he played great. This was the first game of his that I have been able to attend. They won the first 2 but lost this one. I maybe a jinks! ; )

We just got home and got the boys showered and in bed. Switched the laundry around! Put up a load of towels. Cleaned up the kitchen. I guess it is time to call it a day. Still have a couple of things to do before I get to bed.
